So...exciting developments for Caroline Saul, part of the 'SEED family'...her work has recently been featured on the front cover of A-N Magazine, a great accomplishment.
The article goes on to say:
'Wax? Porcelain? paper? In fact Caroline Saul's Bulbous Forms are made from recycled plastic milk bottles. Through her own process involving chopping, dying and heating, Saul transforms a mundane everyday object into delicate lace-like sculptures. Graduating from the University of Brighton's Wood, Metal, Ceramics and Plastics course in 2008, Saul loves materials: "My work is a process-led exploration of colour, texture, pattern, shape and form. I really enjoy the transformational processes that I use to create my work, exploring both the translucency of material and the form created within it. Recycling is a huge part of my practice, there are lots of great materials out there just waiting to be reshaped and reworked!"'
